To reach the Den in the Woods you must first navigate through ancient woodland, over stone bridges and past gently flowing streams. Just next to the nature reserve, there’s a huge sweeping beach where you can splash around in the sea or lie back in the sunshine. There’s also easy access to the South West Coastal Path which is a great way to explore more of the area. Local market towns with their pubs, cafes, restaurants and independent shops include Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge, and all are within a 30-minute drive.
