Open-plan wooden cabins with lakeside terraces encourage you to slow down, unwind and reconnect with friends and family. Made from natural, sustainable and local materials, the wooden cabins bring the outside in, with large patio doors that bathe the space in natural light and stunning views of Marley Lake. Luxury facilities combine with rustic style for an unforgettable Cotswolds escape for up to four people. As you enter your private, luxury lakeside cabin, your eyes immediately dart to the floor-to-ceiling patio doors that lead out to your waterfront terrace and the tranquil waters of the lake. The warm and cosy cabin is decorated with rich, earthy tones of burnt reds, opulent oranges and calming chocolates. Exposed wooden walls and floors, with a natural stone central chimney, make the open-plan living area the perfect place to unwind. In the colder months, light the log burner, sink into the sumptuous sofas and reconnect with friends and family. The true star of your luxury cabin is the dual-level terrace with direct access to the tranquil waters of Marley Lake. In the summer months, relax on the outdoor furniture and dine alfresco as the sun sets over the calming Cotswold countryside. Whether it’s entertaining friends and family, or casting off on your paddleboard or kayak directly onto the lake, it’s the centrepiece of your stay. The fully-equipped kitchen contains everything you need for your stay. From filling the cabin with the scent of morning coffee and toast to creating a warming atmosphere with a delicious evening meal, it’s everything you need for a self-contained break. The large dining room table and chairs can seat all guests in comfort and style. Don’t feel like cooking? The onsite Lakes Bar & Kitchen is there for those treat nights. As the night draws in, sink into your freestanding roll-top bath and soak away the stresses of the day. The super-king or twin bedroom, which can be configured into a double, is the perfect place to rest a tired head. Drift off under thick, luxury bedding and open the skylights to let the stars in. Awake to the sounds of gently lapping waters and rustling leaves before refreshing in your ensuite shower room or family bathroom ready for a day of adventure. Active families and groups are well-catered for at The Lakes by Yoo. Whether it’s watersports such as kayaking or paddleboarding on the lake, exploring the treetops by high ropes and zip wire, wandering the enchanting woodland on a nature walk, or simply taking in a swim and a treatment at the spa, there’s something for everyone. Fancy a relaxing day? Grab a rod, find a secluded spot and while away the hours fishing. Further afield, the ancient town of Cirencester and historic Oxford are both perfect for browsing independent shops and wandering ancient alleyways.

When it's time to rest you'll have the choice of five individually designed rooms, four of which are ensuite and all of which boast Hypnos beds. Or perhaps you'd like to explore the grounds? There are three terraces to choose from and a large landscaped garden opening onto a rolling meadow. There’s also a ha-ha in the lower garden and the terrace next to the kitchen is perfect for alfresco dining, with built-in seating, a table for 10 and a BBQ. You'll be just a short walk from the picture-perfect town of Chipping Campden where you'll find lots of independent shops, cafe's and bars to enjoy. Pamper yourself with a spa day at the Cotswold House Hotel and Spa a short 10-minute walk away. If you feel like eating out, the very cosy Eight Bells is lovely. Lady Bamford’s The Wild Rabbit at Daylesford does a brilliant Sunday lunch in a very stylish setting. And the hosts also recommend booking a table at The Wheatsheaf in Northleach, one of the best pubs for food in the Cotswolds. And once you're sated head back to your fabulous holiday home and settle into the cinema room for a movie night with popcorn!

Padding about in Adder Treehouse is an exercise in meditation, with clutter-free, light and airy spaces pushing your focus to beautiful design, and the incredible wilderness around. There are six spaces in total on the Rewild Things Estate, and Adder Treehouse is most similar to her sisters, Kite Treehouse and Wildcat Treehouse, with space for three to luxuriate in downtime in its carefully curated interior. Indoors, you’ll find the bedroom, where you’ll pair the coffee station with the reading nook, and set a crackling log fire in the burner for a soundtrack. Outdoors, you’ll find the kitchen on the covered deck, for cooking in the fresh air come rain or shine. It’s also where you’ll spy the loungers by the BBQ fire pit for those lazy afternoons in the sun, or late nights toasting marshmallows. And right at the edge of the deck, sits the outdoor bath, where you’ll sink slowly into steaming water, and watch the birds swoop over the rewilded wetlands. If getting out and exploring is on this getaway’s wish list – then you’re in luck. Adder Treehouse is perfectly placed between three major wild spaces, Wye Valley AONB to your west, The Cotswolds to your east, and the Malvern Hills AONB to your North – so whether you’re looking for hikes with incredible views, or paddleboarding down scenic rivers – it’s all in easy reach.
