    The aptly named Beach House on Hayling Island sits just a stone's throw from the sea and is easily accessed from your own private garden. This upside-down house, has many notable features including wooden floors, panelled walls, vaulted ceilings and a bright and airy colour palette. And if you don't fancy the short walk to the beach, you can dine al fresco on the terrace or head upstairs to the balcony and enjoy the views from there. Sleeping up to 11 (plus a couple of dogs), this is one that all the family can enjoy. As an upside-down house, the bedrooms are on the ground floor with the living area upstairs. There are five bedrooms in total, each decorated to the highest of standards. The property has three king size rooms, two of which offer lovely sea views. One of these bedrooms also boasts a four poster bed as well as a rolltop bath and an ensuite shower room. There is then one twin room on offer, as well as a further triple room with three single beds. The family bathroom has been newly fitted and contains a shower and a large bath - perfect for enjoying a soak after a long day on the beach. The ground floor also houses a snug with a TV (film night, anybody?) and folding doors which lead out onto the beach-facing stone terrace. The upstairs living area is bright, airy, and incredibly spacious. There are also lots of sailing opportunities at Langstone Harbour, and the "Rosie K" has 60-minute boat trips around the areas. For keen walkers and cyclists, the Hayling Billy Trail is a five-mile off-road trail which follows an old railway line that runs from Havant to Hayling. To keep the kids amused, the Hayling Seaside Steam Railway and Funland Amusement Park are both excellent options.
