With a private fishing lake, separate games room, hot tub and an immaculate interior which seamlessly mixes modern with traditional, this charming stone farmhouse has something to please everyone. Situated within the pretty Yorkshire countryside, and built from local stone, guests will be enchanted by this lovely house from the moment they rest eyes on it. The heart of any home is the kitchen and Harelands Farm is no exception. It has a splendid kitchen/dining area which makes cooking and socialising an absolute joy. The farmhouse style kitchen is full of all the equipment and gadgets to keep cooks happy while a large kitchen island becomes the social hub as groups gather to chat, pour drinks or even help out the cook. Mealtimes will be cherished when enjoyed at the beautiful wooden table in the dining area of the space. Oak beams run across the pitched roof and large windows offer lovely views to all, as they dine. Pile dishes high, fill glasses to the brim and settle in for memorable feasts with loved ones. After dinner, head to the games room for table football and darts, or escape to the one of two reception rooms, sink into the cosy sofas and listen to the crackle of the fire. Harelands Farm is a home to enjoy all year round and in summer months guests can throw open patio doors and let the fresh Yorkshire air flow through the house. Head on to the paved patio and grill meat and veggies on the gas BBQ, soak in the luxurious hot tub or head to the fishing lake for a spot of angling. When bedtime beckons, there are four superb bedrooms to chose from. The exquisite master has a private balcony where guests can enjoy a quiet morning coffee while enjoying the views over the fishing lake. It also boasts a fabulous ensuite with an indulgent roll top bath, double walk-in shower and his and hers sinks. Pour a drink, sink into the bubbles and simply relax. There is plenty at the house to keep everyone entertained for the length of the stay but the handy location makes day trips irresistible. The famous Yorkshire Dales and coastline are a short drive away, as is Richmond, a beautiful and historic market town perfect for stocking up on goodies, browsing the shops or stopping for lunch. Maybe take a tour of Richmond Castle before heading to The King's Head Hotel for some fine ale and good pub food.
