0

£2,580.00 up to £5,500.00 per week

Set on an 800-acre estate nestled on the edge of the Cairngorms, Kinclune House is a stunning 19th century baronial mansion. Complete with turrets and spectacular views from every window, this is the perfect spot for a memorable escape with friends and family. The interior has recently been refurbished, adding plenty of modern comforts while still retaining its historic charm. Outside, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Vale of Strathmore and the estate itself is bursting with life. It's home to an organic farm where you'll find Highland ponies and Aberdeen Angus Cattle grazing in the fields. After a busy day exploring the breathtaking surroundings and meeting the ponies, gather everyone together for a delicious dinner before putting your feet up in front of the fire. Step in through the grand front doors and you'll be greeted by an elegant and welcoming interior. There's plenty of space for entertaining with two living rooms and a spacious kitchen and dining room. You'll find the kitchen fully-equipped for all your culinary needs, from quick breakfasts before you head out to explore, to celebratory dinners with all the family. In the evenings, choose between relaxing in the snug with its selection of board games or getting cosy in the drawing room in front of the open fire. The main house features five beautifully furnished and unique bedrooms, including one in the turret of the house and one in the tower. If you need a little extra space, Osprey Annex is also available to book. It's located in the rear part of Kinclune House and makes a lovely family suite with a further two bedrooms and its own kitchen and living area. The spectacular views from the windows and the private garden will no doubt inspire you to get out and explore. There's plenty to see and do on the estate itself and you can arrange several outdoor experiences with your hosts to learn more about the unique landscape around you. Head out on a guided walk or go a little further on a farm safari, where you'll be driven to all the best spots for seeing the local wildlife. You can also go for a walk with a Highland Pony carrying a delicious picnic for you in traditional wicker panniers as you take in the beautiful scenery. If you fancy venturing a little further afield, the Cairngorms National Park is within easy reach, offering even more opportunities for outdoor adventure. For a bit of culture, head to Glamis Castle or visit the birthplace of J.M. Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, in nearby Kirriemuir. Golf enthusiasts will find several championship courses nearby, including the famous St Andrews about an hour away.
