The Croft is set on the coast of the Isle of Skye with sweeping sea views across the Sound of Sleat and out to the Knoydart Peninsula. This pretty house was built around 1900 by local craftsmen in a traditional style with village stone. It has been fully refurbished to create a luxurious one-bedroom holiday home surrounded by Skye’s rugged and dramatic landscapes. Step inside and you’ll find plenty of space to keep coats and walking boots in the entrance porch. The hallway takes you through to the kitchen and the living room on the ground floor. You’ll have everything you need for a self-catering holiday in the fully-equipped Ashley Ann kitchen, however, a private chef can also be arranged for special occasions. There’s also a dining area and big double doors open out onto the patio. On sunny days, enjoy your morning coffee outside while taking in the spectacular views. The sitting room is the perfect spot to retreat to for cosy evenings in with a big comfy sofa in front of a wood-burning stove and a TV. The ground floor has beautiful flagged limestone floors and underfloor heating throughout. Upstairs, you’ll find the luxurious double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. There is also a luxurious full size dressing room, with luggage racks, lots of storage, a full length mirror, a dressing table, a comfortable chair and even a record player! There’s an additional bathroom with a beautiful freestanding bath where you can lie back and relax while soaking up the views over the Sound of Sleat. The Isle of Skye is famed for its natural rugged beauty which you can enjoy and explore by land or from the water. You can spend days walking, cycling or even driving through spectacular landscapes, perhaps stopping off at one of the many great pubs along the way. Book yourself onto a boat trip to see it all from a different perspective, try your hand at sailing or paddle around in a kayak. For a more relaxing afternoon, tour the Talisker Distillery or hop across to the Isle of Raasay to sample their single malt whisky and gin at the Raasay Distillery. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and pubs with everything from the famous Kinloch Lodge to enjoying fresh oyster and lobster around a barrel at The Oyster Shed.

With some of the most spectacular views in the British Isles, this highland Crofter's Cottage occupies a romantic and atmospheric position on the magical Isle of Skye. This is an exquisite property with an interior befitting of its spectacular location. It has been fitted and furnished to the highest specification giving guests high-end luxury, style and comfort, including your own private sauna and hot tub. Guests arrive through the stone entrance way which was beautifully constructed by the owner, a local stone mason. Stepping into the semi-open plan living and dining area, you are immediately drawn to the three metre by three metre sliding windows which give views of the inspiring Cullins. On milder days, slide back the doors and enjoy a drink on the paved and grassed area, and on wilder days get cosy on the sofa and enjoy the weather from the warmth and comfort of the croft. Underfloor heating keeps toes cosy and a wood burner adds atmosphere and extra warmth. The kitchen and dining room has two exceptionally large windows which brings the outdoors right into the room. Azure cabinets mirror the Skye skies and the kitchen is exceptionally kitted-out with everything guests could need for creating culinary magic - as well as a Caple wine cooler and Lavazza coffee machine and milk frother. The master bedroom is a king size and the second bedroom can be made up as a twin room, or super king size, and they both have flat screen smart televisions. Beyond the bedrooms you'll find the incredible Finnish sauna, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Outside on the patio is the luxurious hot tub, just right for a dip after the sauna. Have a soak while you take in the amazing sea and mountain views, or see the stars twinkle on the dark nights. Daytimes can be filled exploring the island and admiring the views. Nearby is the Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, nature lovers will be awed by the birdlife and a boat can be taken to the formerly-inhabited to St Kilda. Walkers will want to get up to the Maidens or Macleods Tables, or head to the Coral Beaches with its clear blue waters, a great place for a wild swim where the Gulf Stream makes the waters slightly warmer.
