Onnela Lodge

£1,100.00 up to £3,300.00 per week

Are you looking for a getaway that blends home comforts, countryside living, and stunning Highland views? Well, Onnela Lodge ticks all these boxes and more. Sleeping up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, Onnela has been constructed from the finest Finnish Arctic Pine, lending the interior a rustic feel, with just a touch of Scandi Hygge (think comfort and cosiness) to boot. Overlooking Loch Kishorn on Scotland's west coast, guests will be ideally positioned to explore the picturesque western Highlands. If you'd rather stay put then the first-class amenities, games room and bar will be more than enough to make your stay one of comfort and luxury. You'll be wondering why you didn’t visit sooner. The main sitting and kitchen area is open planned. The lounge has a large corner sofa, a couple of armchairs, and a 65” Smart TV - perfect for movie nights. This is an idyllic space to sit and enjoy a drink with your loved ones after a day out exploring the local area. The stylish dining area sits 8-10 guests comfortably, while the kitchen comes fully equipped with all mod cons to make meal prep a breeze. The breakfast bar can seat a further three guests too and there's a wood burning stove that keeps the space warm and cosy during those colder winter eves. There are five luxury bedrooms in all, each boasting their own distinct identity: Askival, a super king room with a 55” smart TV and ensuite shower room; Ben Loyal, another super king with smart TV and ensuite shower room; Cul Mor, a shabby chic double room in the French style, complete with industrial steampunk mirror; Beinn Damh, a twin room with a light industrial theme; and The Cobbler, a games room with a 50” smart TV, PS4, and games. A large Chesterfield sofa disconnects in The Cobbler to form two single beds. The lodge also has an additional bathroom and a separate WC for added convenience. Outside, you will find stone paving to the rear and wood decking to the front, which is the ideal spot for your morning coffee whilst breathing in the fresh Scottish air. A large lawn is perfect for garden games in the summer. The Kishorn area is replete with things to see and do. The region is a firm favourite with nature lovers, with an abundance of natural walks, trails, and stunning scenery for you to enjoy. Places of interest include the 15th century Strome Castle, the Victorian Attadale Gardens, and the Kishorn Selfie Box. Bealach na Bà, a winding single-track road through the mountains of the Applecross peninsula, is one of the UK's most arresting cycle routes, while the nearby Lochcarron golf course offers a classic Highland setting for a round of golf. For a rugged coastline drive, why not explore some of the North Coast 500?
