This delightful handmade hut for two sits within 18 acres of private farmland. Nestled in an idyllic spot with fabulous panoramic views and everything you could need for a retreat from daily life. This charming home would be perfect for couples, or those cycling the beautiful Welsh countryside who fancy a luxury rest stop. The hut is perfect for two but if you're bringing children you can happily pitch up a tent too! The wooden interior makes excellent use of the space and is painted in cheerful greens and pinks with a white ceiling and feels welcoming and friendly. A cosy wood burner sits to the left of the entrance and is well placed to keep the whole space toasty and warm. They've even provided underfloor heating so you can mooch about barefoot without getting chilly. To the right of the living space is a built-in king size bed with a comfy hypoallergenic down duvet and a shelf behind the headrest where you can stack your books and charge your phones. You'll sleep facing a big window where you can watch the stars as you doze off with the wood burner's warm glow. The kitchen area has a butler's sink facing the window, and opposite is a well-equipped cooking area with an oven, hob and fridge-freezer where you can prepare a feast to enjoy at the table for two in the centre. The hosts provide some breakfast staples so you can start your first morning stress free. Everything is made of wood and there is some pretty bright art on the walls creating a very homely vibe. After a peaceful night's sleep you can freshen up in the shower room before heading through and popping the kettle on. On a sunny morning you might like to take your coffee outside and sit on the Adirondack chairs where you'll be treated to the most beautiful panoramic views of the countryside. The hut is conveniently located between the Brecon Beacons and Cardiff City centre so you can spend a day hiking and enjoying nature, or head into town for some shopping and lunch. The area has much to offer visitors and all within easy reach. Head out to Llancaiach Fawr, Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch. Or for a more adrenaline-fuelled experience try Zip World, the world's fastest zipline! For a variety of great food in cosy pubs you might like to try The Llanfabon Inn, The Railway Inn, The Llechwen Hall and The Hollybush Inn. And if you want to keep things effortless and have a lazy day the local pub is only 100 yards from the hut where you'll be greeted warmly and find great beer and good food served at reasonable prices. The nearby village has a Co-Op where you can stock up on essentials and there's also a great bakery and green grocers. In the evening you can light up the bespoke fire pit, settle back into your Adirondack chairs and watch the stars come up whilst you enjoy a cold drink before climbing into your cosy wood fired hut and its inviting bed.
