Rolling green hills and winding valleys set the scene for this quaint 18th century thatch-roofed cottage in North Devon. Original features and modern amenities come together to create a welcoming holiday home. Two bedrooms make the place ideal for families staying together, but it’s also cosy enough if you wish to stay as a couple. When it’s time to relax, you have a private hot tub and a two-person copper bathtub to choose from. The open-plan living area is the first room of the abode, where you’ll encounter a soft leather sofa in front of a log-burning stove and a dining table for enjoying a spot of cream tea. If business calls during your stay, there is a handy desk where you can set up your laptop. When you are ready for dinner, a Sonos surround sound system means you can play your favourite soundtrack while cooking up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen. Accompany your meal with a drink fixed at the honesty bar. The ground floor is complete with a comfortable double bedroom and a separate bathroom with a bath and combined shower. Aylesbury Cottage sleeps four guests across two bedrooms.
