Located on a UNESCO world heritage site on the edge of St Ives Bay, surrounded by three miles of sandy beaches and with an ever-present Atlantic breeze, Hayle is a surfing and windsurfing hotspot, it's also great for swimming and days on the beach. A paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers, the estuary is managed by the RSPB, and as the first town in Cornwall to be awarded "Walkers Are Welcome" status, its footpaths are well maintained and a pleasure to explore. There are plenty of facilities, from shops and galleries to restaurants and supermarkets, providing everything needed to enjoy a relaxing seaside escape. St Ives and the Tate Gallery is within 6 miles, as well as a huge variety of Cornish villages nearby. Guests can drive between coasts in around 15 minutes - great for exploring and visiting the beautiful beaches this part of the country has to offer. Walk inside and you truly will not be disappointed! This beautiful property was professionally interior designed and was featured in various magazines. Immaculately decorated and ultra-modern, the interiors of this three-storey wharf house are superb. Step onto underfloor heating, perfect for warming up after a swim in the sea, and there is space for coats and shoes in the hallway. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, the master bedroom, complete with an impressive super-king-size four-poster bed. It has an en suite shower room, floor-to-ceiling windows taking in the harbour view, a Smart TV, and its own private balcony with seating. There's also a twin bedroom on the ground floor and the family bathroom which is immaculately tiled in Terrazzo. This 400 year old reclaimed site has been transformed into a beautiful beach house which makes the perfect destination for an idyllic seaside holiday in this undiscovered, yet accessible, part of Cornwall. The property sits 50 metres from the water's edge overlooking the sandy, windswept Whitsand Bay. The first floor features fabulous ceiling to floor windows, so the sensational views are never more than a glance away. Step through the glass doors and fill your senses with the sounds and smells of the beach, hear the waves crashing onto the sandy shores and gaze out over the sea from the luxury of the hot tub. An outdoor dining set and barbecue makes al fresco dining a must, or simply wrap in blankets and enjoy cocoa under the clear Cornish night skies. Inside, on the first floor, an open plan kitchen and dining area, warmed by underfloor heating, is a great place to get together - to cook, eat and hang out. While the grown ups enjoy long evenings catching up over supper and a glass of wine, children can entertain themselves for hours in the ground floor games room. Located at the bottom of a spiral staircase, the room is kitted out for kids big and small, with table football, flatscreen TV, books and board games. The house also has its own pool table. The house is located near the lovely village of Kingsand and Cawsand (which has been called Cornwall's Amalfi), where you will find more beaches, calmer waters and some great pubs, including The Devonport which sells locally caught fish and seafood.
