Immaculately decorated and ultra-modern, the interiors of this three-storey wharf house are superb. Step onto underfloor heating, perfect for warming up after a swim in the sea, and there is space for coats and shoes in the hallway. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, the master bedroom, complete with an impressive super-king-size four-poster bed. It has an en suite shower room, floor-to-ceiling windows taking in the harbour view, a Smart TV, and its own private balcony with seating. There's also a twin bedroom on the ground floor and the family bathroom which is immaculately tiled in Terrazzo. Head up to the first floor to the open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, the stylish kitchen is complete with everything you'll need for your holiday and the leather bar stools around the kitchen island create a sense of conviviality, whilst large windows bring in plenty of natural light. The lounge space meanwhile, has a Smart TV, double-height ceilings, and seamless bi-folding glass doors that open out onto a balcony with dreamy harbour views and a seating area. The Engine House in Porthtowan is a completely unique part of Cornwall's heritage and lifestyle. In the heart of Poldark country, Porthtowan is located between Illogan and St. Agnes (known as St. Annes in the book and TV series) with spectacular countryside walks in both directions along the South West Coastal Path. Featured in Charlie Luxton's C4 Programme "Homes by the Sea" in September 2015 , The Engine House is a genuine part of Cornwall's heritage. Charlie says in the show "I could live here - I could definitely live here"!
