Upper Crumble is one of two charming cottages that have been created from the shell of a former 17th Century Grade II listed barn. The topography on display in the national park is world famous and is a huge attraction for walkers and artists alike. The nearby Cartmel is a great place for food lovers and has some excellent restaurants on offer. Simon Rogan’s two Michelin Star restaurant L’Enclume is situated there, as well as sister establishment Rogan & Co, which has just won its first Michelen star. The Cartmel Coffee is also worth a visit, before heading to the high-end artisanal Unsworth Yard market, with a micro brewery, cheese shop, and wine bar.
