Surrounded by moorland, lakes and the sea, Round n Round is a hand-built wooden cabin in West Cornwall, providing the perfect little haven for couples looking to get back to nature. What's more, the cabin was built with sustainability firmly in mind, meaning guests can enjoy an eco-friendly break. Built and managed with the environment firmly in mind, guests can stay here with a clear conscience that their impact on the planet is kept to a minimum. And thanks to the wild 'jacuzzi' in the form of a fresh stream burbling into a deep natural pool, wood-burner and hot shower, getting away to this peaceful paradise is a real luxury no matter what time of year it is. Situated with farmland and lush green fields all around, the local area is perfect for those wishing to relax in the fresh air. An array of flora, fauna and wildlife await, with a scattering of villages, small towns and the stunning Cornish coast all nearby. Hand constructed, the cabin boasts a characterful design, with two cylindrical chambers and plenty of space in between. Accessories, materials and fabrics throughout the cabin have been selected to be as ethical and sustainable as possible, while not sacrificing on comfort or luxury! A king size bed on the 'mezzanine to the stars' allows plenty of space and comfort for two guests to sleep, while the sofa area and hammock give extra options for relaxing both indoors and out. The kitchen has an impressive induction hob, as well as an oven atop the wood burner and a toaster - ideal for cooking up meals and snacks. Morning coffee can be made using the cafetière or the stove top coffee press, with a handy DAB radio with bluetooth providing your chosen soundtrack for the day. The bathroom has its own hot shower, compost loo and heated towel rail, and the cabin is fully insulated throughout. Outside, guests can make use of the deck area relaxing in the armchairs whilst sitting around the firepit where they can also grill up some food for some al fresco dining as the sun sets. Round n Round has been carefully thought out to provide a peaceful retreat for its visitors, so there is no shame in staying put for the duration of the break. However, guests might be able to tear themselves away and experience the local walking trails, wildlife pond and excellent birdwatching. Keen adventurers will love cycling the historic mineral tramways, and after a day of action, come back to stargaze and spot the Milky Way in the night sky.

    This impressive, Colonial style house, located in the traditional Cornish fishing village of Polperro, was designed by an American architect in the 1930s. The large verandah and the two terraces were built with long summer days in mind, enjoying meals outdoors and entertaining late into the evening. In the cooler months, retreat indoors and stay cosy by the log fires and enjoy the newly refurbished interior with its colourful modern artwork. Comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests, Palm Court is perfect for big family get togethers or seaside escapes with friends. The interior feels bright and spacious, thanks to the big windows and white walls throughout. Natural materials and neutral colours have been chosen for the furnishings, creating a relaxed atmosphere, while the collection of modern artwork adds subtle splashes of colour and character. There are several large living spaces with log fires and views over the garden as well as a games room with a pool table. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for large groups and there’s plenty of room for everyone around the dining table.
