Anchor Cottage offers groups of up to six guests a quaint seaside retreat in a charming fishing town in Cornwall. With a pretty, stone exterior and a fantastic location on the water's edge, the cottage is cosy and comfy with amazing sea views. The granite-lined lounge and dining area is the ideal place to relax with your loved ones. This characterful space, with whitewashed walls, features a wood burner to keep you toasty and warm whatever the weather outside and is also home to some super-comfy sofas. The space also features some delightful window seats, which provide you with the lovely sea views, and some nice cushions so you can sit and take in the view in comfort. The thick, rustic dining table adds to the rural character of the room and offers a delightful spot to enjoy hearty meals with your loved ones whilst enjoying the view. When it comes to preparing meals, the kitchen is a stylish place to be and features all the amenities you'll need. The room features pretty pale blue units and calming larch panelling that give it a nice beachside vibe. Budding chefs will have all they need to whip up a feast including a cooker, electric hob, under counter fridge and separate freezer. There's also a dishwasher so no one is lumbered with the washing up, as well as a microwave, kettle, blender, milk warmers and even a smoothie maker. Guests will also be pleased to hear that there's a washer and dryer, as well as an ironing board for use throughout their stay. When bedtime beckons, the cottage has three fab bedrooms on offer. The two at the front of the cottage provide yet more stunning sea views and comfy window seats with one bedroom housing a double and the other a king size bed. The third bedroom sits at the rear of the cottage and can be arranged as either a pair of twins or a king sized bed. Each bed in the cottage features crisp, white cotton linens and feather duvets and pillows and they're also home to a few lovely, unique, reclaimed pieces. The large, walk-in power shower in the main bathroom is ideal for washing off the salt and sand after a day spent on the beach and is also spacious enough for two! The bathroom also features a WC and a basin as well as underfloor heating and electric towel rails to keep you toasty and warm when you step out of the shower. There's also a handy cloakroom downstairs. One of the absolute best features of Anchor Cottage is the front garden. This walled terrace has a nice outdoor dining area, a comfy wrap-around bench seat and a firepit to keep you warm when the sun goes down. Enjoy meals and drinks out on the terrace whilst taking in the incredible, vast sea view. This is the perfect place to relax as you watch the beautiful sunset with the sound of the sea as your soundtrack. There is also an enclosed rear courtyard for drying wetsuits or rinsing off the dog. Anchor Cottage is located in the charming coastal town of Porthleven, famous for being the most southerly port in England. This wonderful little town has some fantastic weekly markets, delightful restaurants and great cafes along with little arty shops, delis and street food options. The beach is also great and is perfect for swimming, dog walking or a relaxing summer's picnic.
