And next to the sea, you’ll find a stylish yet comfortable cottage, where you can enjoy spending relaxing times together. This cottage welcomes you in true natural style with a wooden bridge across to the front door. Inside you’ll find an open plan living area with wonderful sea views from the large floor to ceiling picture window – superb for watching the sunset. Or step outside onto the sheltered decked balcony for superb sea-views and the perfect place for al fresco dining and sundowners. There is a compact and well equipped bespoke kitchen and dining area, and throughout you’ll find high ceilings with exposed beams, granite walls and lime-waxed wooden floors that give the cottage a light and airy feel. Stairs lead to the ground floor where you’ll find a slate floor, with underfloor heating throughout for a cosy feel. The bedroom boasts an antique brass and iron double bed and an en suite tiled wet-room with power shower, basin and lavatory. Outside there is a sheltered private slate patio with garden furniture and a surf board store bordered by attractive granite walls and tropical plants. The garden is terraced with colourful tropical plants complimented by the wonderful scenery of Vellandreath Valley with all its flora, fauna and spectacular panoramic views. Nearby is a local inn, award winning Beach Restaurant, Round House Gallery and the attractive little fishing harbour of Sennen Cove, only 10 minutes’ walk across the vast expanse of the sandy Blue Flag beach, which is perfect for swimming, water sports and great for kids with the assurance of the RNLI Lifeguards. If you are lucky, you may even spot dolphins, the odd seal or even a basking shark. Rock climbing is popular on the cliffs and headlands. This is superb walking country and great for cycling or mountain biking. Sennen is also a Mecca for surfing with countless options for all levels of ability. There are great surf schools and equipment hire close by in Sennen Cove and on the beach.
