Staircases and galleries lead up to the bedrooms on the floors above while comfy sofas invite you to relax and unwind in front of the log-burning fire. Move through to the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with an Aga, coffee machine and large dining table where you can enjoy delicious meals together. Wood-burners, compost loos, local timber and solar power all minimise impact on the environment, while careful stewardship of their land has lead to flourishing wildlife that benefits everything except the plants in the kitchen garden, that need firm but friendly defending from slugs! Ben and Jo can talk you through any aspect of living in an ecologically sound way, and even build you a cabin of your own, but all they really want is for you to come and feel the peace of their slice of nature.
